Advanced Ballroom begins September 13 Mondays 7pm for six weeks $57 in advance*
For advanced dancers who have already taken oodles of Foxtrot and Waltz. Intro to Continuity style Foxtrot, an exciting, graceful, fast-moving style.
Adv/Int West Coast Swing begins September 13 Mondays 8pm for six weeks $57 in advance*
Fun! Great music! For those West Coast swing dancers who are at least familiar with basic whip footwork.
This is a sophisticated style danced to blues and pop music. New fun moves!
Basic Swing begins September 14 Tuesdays 6pm for six weeks $57 in advance*
The most basic form of this popular dance. Sometimes referred to as Jitterbug.
Basic Country Western Two Step begins September 14 Tuesdays 7pm for six weeks $57 in advance*
Country basics. The two step is a dance that travels around the floor. It has lots of fun twirls.
Basic Salsa begins September 14 Tuesdays 8pm for six weeks $57 in advance*
Find your inner latin lover. Lively rhythmic music that makes you want to move!
More advanced courses will be offered throughout the year, so get the basics down in this class and build your skills as the year progresses! Even if you have already taken this course, a review of the basics could be helpful!

A fun and versatile dance to a classic rhythm. A natural follow-up to the Rumba or Salsa.

Basic patterns of this sophisticated style of dance. To blues and pop music. Previous knowledge of basic swing is recommended.
Intermediate Argentine Tango begins September 16 Thursdays 7pm for six weeks $57 in advance*
Review and expand your possibilities for social dancing. Includes Vals. Get ready for the guest workshop with Carolina and Donato in November!
Advanced Argentine Tango begins September 17 Thursdays 8pm for six weeks $55 in advance*
More advanced patterns and experimenting with Tango, Vals and Milonga. Warm up for the tango workshop in November!

Lindy Hop Lessons
The next round of Lindy Hop lessons at the Beall Rec Center starts Thursday September 9th!
Intermediate Lindy Hop is for students who are already comfortable with the basic 8 count swing out. We will review, drill, and perfect the moves we worked on in previous Lindy B & C classes. Covers Lindy turns (texas tommy, tuck turns, etc..), syncopations, and Charleston. Lesson 6:30-7:30pm. Dance practice from 7:30-8pm
Lindy Fundamentals - This class will begin with the basic fundamental dance patterns of 6 & 8 count swing. The Lindy Swing Out will be part of this class. If you have not learned the Swing Out or need a refresher on the basics, this class is for you! A basic vocabulary of jazz moments will be introduced to improve your styling and add to your basic patterns. Lindy Fundamentals will emphasize solid technique to help your swing dancing look and feel great. "Taint whatcha do, it's the way that you do it". Lesson 8-9pm. Dance practice from 9-9:30pm

2nd course: October 20 - November 10
With optional intro/tutorial session on September 15 to brush up on basics
A series of 3-week courses focused on dance foundations, technique and connection for the rhythm dances. This course covers latin (rumba, cha cha, salsa/mambo, samba, merengue ) and swing dances (East Coast Swing triple-step and West Coast Swing). Solid knowledge of basic patterns in most of the dances required.
$30 per individual course or $54 for both
