Basic Ballroom begins April 15 Mondays and Wednesdays 6pm for three weeks $57
Foxtrot and Jitterbug. The best fundamental course. How to lead and follow, how to listen for the beat, get around the dance floor and other dance basics.

Showcase Rehearsals-Tango! begin April 16 Tuesdays 7-9 pm for six weeks $114
Rehearsals for the showcase performance at the Spring Ball (June 1). Share your love of dancing by performing. A great way to improve your dancing in Tango and lots of fun! There will be a short extension at the end of this session. For any tango dancers intermediate level and higher. You must be willing to commit to rehearsals through June 1.

COUNTRY TWO-STEP - BEGINNING
Mondays Apr 15- May 6 , 7:00-8:00 pm
A favorite dance at clubs and weddings, this "walking" dance has lots of turns and fun grapevines. Learn modern, smooth styling and how to lead and follow confidently.
NIGHT CLUB TWO-STEP - BEGINNING
Mondays Apr 15- May 6 , 8:00-9:00 pm
A flowing, romantic dance that's super useful at weddings, dances and clubs. Getting married? Night Club Two-Step is a great choice for your first dance!
EAST COAST SWING - INTERM
Tuesday Apr 16- May 7 , 7:00-8:00 pm
Fun turns and combos, triple-step technique and rolling 'swing count, plus Charleston basics. This is a fast-moving course, must be comfortable with swing basics or have consent of instructor.'
TRIPLE TWO-STEP TUNE UP
Tuesday Apr 2-9, 6:00-7:00 pm
A versatile smooth traveling dance that fits where other dances don't, on slower and smoother swing/country songs. For those who have taken Triple-Two before, we'll work on "tuning up" your skills.

Classes run 4 consecutive weeks.
Classes begin September 4th, 2012 at the dance studio in Romney Gym. Our classes focus on universal concepts that will you allow you to improvise in any situation. We do teach moves, but we like to incorporate lead-follow technique into everything we do. Classes will start on time, so please arrive a few minutes early to change shoes and register. If you are not sure which class is right for you, please email me at vigilanteswing@gmail.com.
Swing 101: Intro to Swing
Tuesday, 7:00-8:00, Romney Dance Studio
This is where to start if you are new to swing dancing. The class will cover 6-count swing, also called "east coast swing" or "jitterbug". We'll learn basic swing technique and lots of easy turns to get you out on the dance floor right away.
Lindy 101: Intro to Lindy Hop, Part I
Tuesday, 8:00-9:00, Romney Dance Studio
Pre-req: Swing 101 or knowledge of triple step swing. The original swing dance from the ballrooms of Harlem in 1930s, this incredibly fun dance incorporates all the 6 counts moves you already know, and allows you do do so much more. We'll cover the basic 8-count footwork and learn the basic lindy hop patterns.
